Swampscott High School will welcome residents from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. today to cast their votes in the town’s annual election.

The sole contested race is for a Select Board seat. Incumbent member Peter Spellios is not running for reelection, and Katie Arrington and Danielle Leonard are vying to fill his seat.

Any remaining mail-in ballots must be returned to Town Clerk Jared LaLiberte’s office by 8 p.m.
